Should school board members be parents of school-aged children?

Our school board makes decisions that affect children and families. Board members cannot fully understand the impact of their decisions unless or until they see how their policies impact families who have children in K12 schools.

Our candidates have school-aged children () and school-aged grandchildren (💚) which means that our candidates understand parents and how board decisions impact families better than their opponents (❌).
